ODM CAMPAIGNS AT KENYATTA BEACH
Hassan Joho, an aspirant of the post of Mombasa County Governor through coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) led selected members of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) in a new year`s political campaign at the sprawling Jomo Kenyatta Beach of Mombasa on Tuesday – first January, 2013.
Joho, who is the current member of parliament for Kisauni was flanked by Amason Kingi, an aspirant for Kilifi governor`s position.
Tony lights, an aspirant for the parliamentary seat in the newly created Nyali constituency and Mama Asha, the councilor of Kingo`rani ward and presently eyeing the position of Mombasa County`s women representative.
The ODM creative beach campaign was graced by performance known musicians from coastal strip and up country. The musicians were cheered by the dancing and crooning audience in its beach wear throughout the sunny day as massive speakers blared the breezy beach with blaring music of different genres. The audience arrived in doves and increased with passing of minutes.
By the time the show ended at seven in the evening, about a hundred thousand people had benefited either partially or fully from the free music concert which was wrapped in ODM`S political campaign`s message.
